The Water Rooms project consists of a visionary and inspirational itinerary of 5 short animated movies intertwined by 5 monologues that trigger interest and encourage learning about freshwater resources and their responsible and sustainable management. The amazing and talented studios and professionals behind the production of the five short animated movies are: Steve Cutts (who made the movie above), Studio Bozzetto, Francesca Ferrario, Bitmama and Codesign. Rosso Productions was involved in The Water Rooms project to develop and revision the scripts, recruiting talents, production of graphic animations, sound design, social media management, development of an outreach strategy and design and directing of the official launch event held at Expo Milano 2015.

Writing, editing and reviewing the five original scripts of the five animations was a wonderful and enriching experience that gave us the opportunity to work alongside some of the best animators and cartoon artists in the world, like Steve Cutts and Bruno Bozzetto.
Designing and developing a brand new visual identity for this project was quite a feat. From scratch we worked closely with the client to ensure that every aspect was taken into consideration bringing to life a polished, minimalistic visual identity that summarises the overall messages of the Project.
Envisioning and directing the official launch ceremony of The Water Rooms that was held during Expo Milano 2015, was an extraordinary creative accomplishment. The event saw coming onto the stage a number of political figures, environmentalists, journalists, world-renowned musicians, and actors.
